How We Price Chimney Cleaning Work

Every job at Emberly Chimney Cleaners is priced job-by-job off a free written estimate – no hourly rate, no plan to join, nothing to sign up for before anyone touches your fireplace. You see the full number, in writing, before work begins. What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out

Nothing. The estimate visit is free. When we come out, our technician does a real assessment – including a camera-scan inspection under NFPA 211 Level 2 standards – documents what we find, and hands you a written price with a written scope before any work is scheduled. The whole visit typically runs under an hour. At the end of it, you have a clear record of what’s actually inside your flue and a firm number to decide on. You’re under no obligation to book. The busiest stretch in this trade is late summer through early fall. Burning season is six to eight weeks away, homeowners open the damper for the first time in months, and the phone rings. Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?

No, and that’s deliberate. We price every job off a free written estimate – one number, agreed in writing, before work starts. There’s no subscription to join, no payment plan to apply for, and no financing product attached to any service we offer. The written estimate is the whole answer to what something costs.

Can I combine two offers?

One offer per household per visit. If you’re booking your first service and want to use the first-visit discount, that’s the one that applies. The free estimate and the documented photo record aren’t offers – they’re included on every job as a matter of standard.

Does the price change once you’re here?

No. The written estimate is the price. If our technician finds something unexpected in the flue that wasn’t visible during the initial assessment, we stop, document what we found – including photos – and re-quote in writing before doing anything additional. We don’t proceed on assumptions, and we don’t add line items after the fact.
